Director:
Janice Blevins – grew up
in a Christian home and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior when she
was 12. She has served a total of 37 years in children’s ministry,
with most of those years serving as a leader in worship programs for
children in grades 1-5. Janice and her husband Earl has served
Andover Christian Church in this capacity for 12 years. Janice has
been married to Earl for 38 years, has 2 grown children, and is
Grandma to 3 boys and 2 girls. Janice was a junior high/high school
home economics teacher for 17 years in the public school system.

Large Group Leaders:
Penny Carda -
accepted Christ as her
Savior when she was 15. She has served the last
10 years in
the children’s ministry at Andover Christian Church. Penny has been
married to Luke for 18 years. They have 2 girls. Penny is gifted
in presenting the lessons in creative, fun ways.
Barb Poirier -
became a part of Andover Christian Church and has served as part
of the children's ministry skit teams since that time. She
is very talented in the drama area. Barb has been married
to Charles (Chuck) for 7 years. She has 1 grown daughter.
Music Coordinator:
Kirk Hargrove - grew up in a pastor’s
home. Additionally, his family is very talented musically.
Kirk coordinates and leads the music portion of Promiseland. He
serves as a worship leader for the adult worship also. Kirk is
married to Missy and they have 4 children.

Small Group Leaders are Earl Blevins, Chuck
& Barb Poirier
Earl became a Christian at the age of 18 while dating Janice. He has served
29 years in children’s ministry. Additionally, Earl is an elder of
Andover Christian Church and teaches an adult Sunday School class.
Chuck and Barb
have served together in the children’s ministry for the past 7
years. 2000 was an eventful year for them. Chuck and Barb were
married and Chuck became a Christian that year.
