Senior Pastor - Dr. Jim Conner

Dr. Jim Conner who served as our interim senior pastor from June to December 2006 was hired December 31, 2006 as our senior pastor. Jim and his wife Peggy have pastored a church in the southern Metro for the past 24 years. He comes to us with a broad experience in leading churches and developing church leaders. His preaching is perhaps the strongest gift He brings to our congregation, based on the comments from his previous congregation. In addition, the Conners have spent 3+ years overseas as missionaries, working behind the Iron Curtain. The Conners still have a passion for missions and take mission trips frequently. Jim has also served on a variety of boards for national church ministries. Peggy is an elementary school educator, teaching 3rd & 4th grades for the past 20 years. They have 3 grown children: Beth, Jenny, & James, two sons-in-law: Justin & Al, and two grandsons: Ben & Ayden. And one dog, George! To contact Jim, click here.

Associate Pastor of Youth - Celeste Ecklund

Celeste began her official duties here in November 2003.

She has been working in youth ministry as a volunteer for about 10 years, becoming increasingly more involved year by year. She has a BS degree in Criminal Justice Administration from San Diego State University where she emphasized Juvenile Justice. She has always had a heart for youth and it shows in the way she ministers to them. She has worked with youth in therapeutic settings, educational settings, and now God has called her to a position where she can make an eternal difference in the lives of young people. Associate Pastor of Worship - Kim Berggren

Kim has returned as our worship pastor, a position she formerly held a couple of years ago. She is highly gifted in music and leading others into the presence of God. Kim is married to Jon and they have four children. She earned the Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with an emphasis on music from Augsburg College.
